Track in Rome Experience Program Dates • December 9th-17th , 2018 • You will fly from Walsh on Sunday, December 9th and arrive in Italy on December 10th. • You will leave Italy and return to Walsh on December 17th. Cost • $2,500 o This includes airfare, meals, transportation in and around the city, site visits, and supplemental insurance • Additional costs will include personal spending money, costs of passport. Course • As Global Learning is an academic program, each experience is associated with a course. This experience will require you to enroll in ART 326- Visual Culture in the Eternal City. This course is taught by Professor Jennifer Vokoun, who will be traveling with your group. You have the option of taking this course as either a T1 Art or an H2B. You must indicate at the beginning of the course which designation you would like to receive. • The course is 3 credit hours and will be added to your Spring 2019 schedule. Please be sure to make room and account for these hours. • The course will require some preliminary work, Most of it will be available online, but will also require some meeting times (TBD). Passport • If you do not have a passport please apply for one immediately. Passports may take 4-6 weeks. Application • Please have this completed by Aug 1st. Deposit and Payments • Please use this site (clicking Deposits and Payments in the menu on the left) to make a $200 deposit to hold your spot in the program. This is due by August 1st. This deposit contributes to your overall program fee. • The remaining $2,300 will be due by Sept. 1st.
