For 12 days in May 2019, Walsh will visit the University Sacred Heart in Gulu, Uganda and Kisbubi Brothers University in Kampala Uganda. Graduate students in the CHD program will facilitate small group work in basic counseling skills training for participants from the Archdiocese of Gulu (northern Uganda). This is an opportunity to promote the expansion of counseling services as this region recovers from the effects of years of internal wars. SAHE students will work with Gulu participants to facilitate expansion and growth in the area of higher education.
