DATES: October 2nd - December, 11th , 2020 (tentative) FACULTY: Dr. Mary Cook & Dr. Joe Wayand DESCRIPTION: Let Rome, Italy be your Fall 2020 destination to learn and discover. The Eternal City will become your classroom and laboratory as you, guided by your faculty, use the city to gain a better understanding of our western intellectual and religious traditions vital to understanding the world’s contemporary challenges. Fall Rome 2020 will have a special focus on healthcare, culture, and human development. COURSES: Students will enroll in 12 credits while in Rome and will complete 3-4 summer hours (Please ask about the GL Summer Discount). While in Rome students will have morning lecture/discussion, with continued exploration through research and observation during the afternoons and out-of-town site visits. Nursing Students: Summer 2020: Nursing students will need to complete either BIO 290 Pathophysiology or BIO 206 Microbiology during the summer to be eligible for the Fall 2020 Nursing in Rome Experience. Fall 2020: Students will be enrolled in NUR 230 Health Assessment, NUR 240 Pharmacology, and GL 350 The Rome Experience (6 credits with H2A/H2B/SL) All Other Students Summer 2020 : Bio and Chem students have the option of taking Chem 201 Organic Chemistry and Lab Fall 2020: Students will be enrolled in Psych 301 Cross-Cultural Psychology (H1), Psych 210 (Human Development (T1), and and GL 350 The Rome Experience (6 credits with H2A/H2B/SL) APPLICATIONS: Apply and Deposit ($200) now to hold your spot.
