Program Description

Partnering with UNIVA La Universidad Catolica students and faculty explore the healthcare system in Guadalajara, Mexico observing public and private hospitals and health clinics. There is a special focus on manageable and preventable care.

Coursework – Students participating in a Global Health program will enroll in NURS 390 (H2B) Issues in Global Healthcare in the Spring 2020 semester. This course will explore the principles and goals of global health including an introduction to health systems, the burden of disease, and ways to improve global health.
