Program Fee and Airfare- $899 (*estimated). Program fee includes lodging, meals, site visits,and ground transportation. *total costs determined at time of airfare booking.
Program Description
Spend the first week of Winter Break learning and serving in border communities of Laredo, Texas and Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Observe and examine the complex relationship between these countries in class and on both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border.
Participants will spend the evenings in Laredo, Texas and visit various social, governmental, and educational sites in the community of Laredo and across the border in Laredo Nuevo, Mexico.
Students in this program will enroll in ENG 315-1 in the Fall of 2019. This course is designated as an H1/SL.
