Join Professor Jennifer Vokoun (Director of Walsh University Food Design Institute) on an experience that looks at food justice and practice by meeting with solution-focused organizations and individuals. Throughout this Fall 8wk1 2021 course you will visit regional cities culminating in a experience to North Carolina over Fall Transition (week between Fall 8wk1 and Fall 8wk2) 2021. Students will enroll in an experiential Fall 1 course for 3 credit hours. Please note this course will not have a regular meeting times, instead will meet at local partner sites as well as 3 travel experiences. Travel experiences 1 & 2 will focus on regional cities within a days trip from Walsh University. Travel experience 3 will include a multi-day opportunity to Raleigh, North Carolina. Costs of the program will include transportation to travel experiences, meals on travel experiences, academic site visits, and accommodations on travel experiences.
